Epiroc is now hiring a _**_Key Customer Manager_**_ for our _Eastern Region based in Tasmania._
- This is a key position within the Epiroc sales organisation, providing both our existing and potential customers with productive and innovative equipment solutions that represent longer term sustainable value for their business bottom line._
- As the _**_Key Customer Manager_**_, you will assume responsibility for leading our efforts with a defined group of mining and civil customers located across _Tasmania_. The role will act as the primary customer contact, owning the customer relationship, while providing a conduit between Epiroc's other invested business disciplines and our customer's operating sites and corporate business teams._
- You will need a demonstrated ability to engage with a broad range of both internal and external business stakeholders and promote the solutions and capabilities of Epiroc as a whole._
- Your ability to look outside the norm and approach your work methodically and with a self disciplined focus to prioritise and manage tasks effectively will be key to your success in this role._

**_There are several attributes that the successful applicant will need to possess, which include:_**
- _The ability to make decisions within set parameters, and the confidence to deliver information to various levels within both Epiroc and the customer's organisations_
- _A background in and understanding of business development, account management or general sales_
- _A technical mindset - you don't need to be an expert regarding machinery as you will be supported in that space, but a solid understanding of technical considerations is important_
- _Willingness to undertake extensive travel._
- _Highly developed communication skills. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to find common ground with people approaching projects from differing perspectives._
- _Exposure to mining and related industries will be well-regarded_
- _A strong ability and desire to solve problems_
