**Role Overview**:
As the IT Application Manager, your primary goal is overseeing the diverse suite of Insurance systems within our client's agency businesses. This pivotal role involves managing both Projects and Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations. You'll serve as the gatekeeper for the release process, collaborating closely with business leads and stakeholders across the organisation. Your focus will be on maximising the value derived from our technological investments while ensuring seamless operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Work within an agile framework, liaising with agency partners, vendors, and senior managers. Your role involves understanding their needs, gathering requirements, managing priorities, and ensuring effective pipelines.
- ** Capacity Planning and Resource Allocation**: Conduct staffing capacity planning, develop service processes, and establish engagement plans, optimising resource allocation.
- ** Team Leadership and Collaboration**: Lead, develop, and retain a team of business analysts and testing resources. Foster a collaborative environment within and outside the organisation.
- ** Problem Solving and Solution Development**: Recognise issues, offer recommendations, and oversee remediation plans to ensure smooth operations.
- ** Budget Coordination**: Collaborate with individual agencies to assist in the development and tracking of their IT budgets.
- ** Project Implementation**: Coordinate with the Project Management team, ensuring schedules and milestones are communicated effectively. Employ a hybrid project management methodology encompassing Prince2 and Agile Scrum.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:

- ** Management Skills**: 2+ years in vendor and internal stakeholder management, engaging with Heads of various departments.
- ** Communication**: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Proven ability in managing stakeholders and fostering robust working relationships.
- ** Business Acumen**: Strong commercial, business, and strategic understanding.
