**Your new company**
Our client is a leading development company across Australia and New Zealand which has grown rapidly over the past two years, and with them currently having seven development properties on the way they are due to continue this rapid growth. They are dynamic, supportive, and well resourced. The company has a major focus of their customers, putting them at the forefront of everything they do. **Your new role**
Reporting directly to the Director, you would be the go-to person for the office. Your duties include:
- Provide effect administration support to ensure the smooth running of the office
- Sort, distribute, prepare mail, and courier deliveries
- Undertake research for the business
- Inventory management, restocking as required, arrange office access, manage the office budget
- Organise functions and events and provide support for any people and culture activities
- Onboarding and off boarding staff, performance planning and activity reviews
- Travel and accommodation arrangements, itinerary management, and scheduling meetings for the whole Melbourne team
- Coordinate team meetings and format reports, documents, and presentations for them
- Minute taking and distribution of documents to all required stakeholders
- Internal communication drafting and managing and coordinating filing and document control
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are met
- Create a vibrant office environment to add value to the team, culture, and the overall office experience
**What you'll need to succeed**
Significant experience in a similar role will be crucial to lead you to success as will:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with all customers, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of all stakeholders
- Understanding the important of role, and that every task is critical
- Understand the importance to be working completely from the office to maintain a positive office culture
- Someone who is confident and has a positive attitude
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office suit including PowerPoint with experience in organising travel and accommodation arrangements
- A genuine care to deliver high quality work and exceed goals successfully
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with high attention to detail
- Problem solving and ability to think outside the box to find effective solutions
