Our client is seeking a highly experienced Design Lead to head up the workplace design aspects of a large and extremely high end commercial/mixed-use tower in Sydney CBD.

They are committed to providing their employees with a positive and supportive work environment that values creativity, innovation and a strong work ethic, as well as providing their team members with the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the design process from concept to completion
- Act as the conduit between the businesses workplace strategy and design deliverables
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external design team members, including architects, engineers, and consultants
- Ensure designs are in line with project goals, budget, and schedule
- Manage the design review process, including presentations to stakeholders and authorities
- Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Act as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design management, preferably in commercial fitout (hospitality and retail fit out will also be seen favorably)
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
