The Melbourne Zoo is beautiful venue in a fun outdoor environment setting with a wide range of exotic flora and fauna. We are a great team with a strong commitment to the environment and wildlife.

Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have a casual opportunity for an experienced **Retail Team Leader. **We offer a fantastic team environment and full training of our processes and procedures.

**The position**
- Running Café operation on daily basis (ensuring compliance with contract and service standards)
- Opening and closing of operations.
- Managing your daily workload while achieving high quality output in volume
- Providing management guidance to front of house team.
- Supporting and training new team members
- Provide hands on food and beverage service
- Barista experience required
- Ensuring outstanding customer service is provided to the customer

**About You**
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Understanding of Commercial hospitality operation
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
- Adaptable and thrives in a multi-tasking environment
- Great personal presentation and an outgoing personality
- Available across a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
