**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and provide services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP on a 6 month contract paying up to $320 p/d + Super located in Mascot with flexible work arrangements.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Cost Assistant with a leading NSW Government agency. This role requires you to prepare and review monthly accruals and cost recoveries, reallocations and transfers and produce project accruals report.

**_Key accountabilities include:_**
- Review and proccessing of invoices in SAP, such as goods receipting, approval workflow
- Create and maintain purchase orders in SAP, such as variations, extensions
- Liaise with project team and support community (Finance, procurement, People) and adhere to the financial and accounting procedures as required
- Provide Complete ad-hoctasks for the project as requested"

**About You**
- Qualifications in accounting, commerce or similar discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial or management accounting and SAP
- Demonstrated extensive experience of cost controlling or equivalent management responsibility
- Ability to accurately respond to evolving contexts and able to negotiate transactions
- Ability to communicate financial management concepts and principles to people with limited knowledge in these areas.
