In this role, you will be responsible for various financial and accounting tasks, ensuring accurate processing and control of project costs. This position has become available as the role and responsibilities have transitioned from Commercial to the Project Controls Team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and process invoices in SAP, including goods receipting and approval workflow.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in SAP, such as variations and extensions.
- Prepare and review monthly accruals, cost recoveries, reallocations, and transfers, and generate project accruals reports.
- Collaborate with project teams and support the community (Finance, Procurement, People) while adhering to financial and accounting procedures.
- Provide support for ad-hoc tasks as requested by the project.

**Technical Capabilities**:

- Extensive experience with SAP.
- Good knowledge and user experience with BW (data warehouse).
- Willingness to learn new systems and interfaces.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications in accounting, commerce, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial or management accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using SAP.
- Excellent communication skills with operational and management leadership stakeholders.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Demonstrated extensive experience in cost controlling or equivalent management responsibility in a high-risk environment, including understanding of risk management strategies and practices.
- Ability to accurately respond to evolving contexts, negotiate transactions and relationships, and make recommendations.
- Ability to communicate financial management concepts and principles to individuals with limited knowledge in these areas.

The Cost Assistant plays a crucial role in meeting transport obligations, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and minimizing overdue invoices. By effectively managing costs and financial processes, this position contributes to the company's commercial success.
