Our ASX20 customer seeks a Security Analyst to report into the CSO and support them to run a tight security operations ship.

**The Security Analyst will be responsible for the following**:

- Ensure the compliance of security administration processes and access by analysing data and metrics to spot unauthorised activity and prevent breaches
- Use risk analysis and vulnerability testing in security assessments to reduce security breach risk
- Identify root causes by analysing security breaches and incidents and ensure system changes accordingly
- Escalate all potential breaches and vulnerabilities to the GRC manager
- Upgrade and maintain security systems, reporting platforms, firewalls...etc ensuring all documentation and policies are similarly up to date and compliant
- Create and operate systems to capture progress, take corrective action and produce reports for the ELT
- Contribute to risk management by ensuring that Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans include comprehensive cyber security elements

In order to be successful, the Security Analyst will have most of the following:

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, Comptia Security
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar cyber security operations focused position
- Good communication skills
- Organisational and planning skills
- Able to focus and prioritise work
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to ask for help when unsure how to proceed
