**The Opportunity**
MinSol Engineering is a resource development consultancy who specialise in mineral processing facilities and associated infrastructure. The core engineering team have been involved in the development of the lithium industry for the last 15 years and given their broad knowledge in the sector, are now busy undertaking numerous studies and implementation projects for several lithium and battery mineral focussed clients.

With so many new and exciting projects, MinSol are currently seeking motivated Mechanical Designers that will work in collaboration with senior engineers and designers to create detailed mechanical drawings and models.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and systems using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Collaborating with senior team members to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into accurate design representations.
- Ensuring that the design drawing adhere to established standards, guidelines, and project requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and contributing ideas to optimise mechanical solutions and resolve design challenges.
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation for procurement, fabrication and construction activities related to mechanical systems.

**Selection Criteria**
- Associate diploma in CAD or Associate degree in mechanical engineering highly regarded.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Plant 3D essential (5+ years’ experience).
- Basic knowledge of material sciences, hydraulic principles, and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in mineral process plants, including battery minerals, base metals and mineral sands.
- Highly motivated and outgoing personality, who are willing to be a part of a social and collaborative team.
