**Position Summary**

The Student Counsellor is primarily responsible for supporting the wellbeing of students across the school. The role is offered three days per week, including Wednesday and Friday, which are non-negotiable.

**The successful applicant will**
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications including a Masters or Doctorate in Educational and Developmental or Clinical Psychology.
- Have full Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- Have experience in providing counselling services to children and adolescents, ideally in a school-based setting.
- Have relevant experience in counselling around a range of mental health issues, as well as school and behavioural issues.
- Effectively liaise with staff and parents on strategies for students in need, ensuring the best care is provided.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience in working with EAL students, particularly Mandarin speaking students and families.
