**About the Job**
This is a Full-time permanent position with a long-established company in the Laverton North area for an experienced Automation Robot Welding Operator.

**About You**
- Setting up and operating industrial electronic equipment for hard facing overlays.
- Installation and adjustment of electronic equipment for specified job orders.
- Maintenance including repair of complex electronic robot equipment and including replacing parts.
- Modification of electronic equipment depending on materials, welding specifications, operations, and quality standardsas per the customer's order.
- Re-assembly and adjustment of equipment positions for each workpiece on locating pins of holding fixture adjacent torobot, manually or using hoist, and aligns and secures workpiece on holding fixture, using template, bolts, hand tools, andpower tools.
- Observation of robotic operation and monitors screen of machine controller for malfunctions and error messages.
- Analyze operational data, production plans, and schedules to determine equipment efficiencies.
- Resolving faults and problems within the Engineering and Projects department arising out of Engineering and design.
- Communicate with cross-disciplinary stakeholders within the company to ensure efficient production.
- Inspects finished workpiece for conformance to specifications.
- Operate Motoman and ABB 6 Axis welding robots and troubleshoot as required.
- Touch-up existing programs, create new programs, design and install jigs and fixtures to complete the welding operation.
- Keep a record of production status in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.
- Design and create the optimum robotic welding program according to the job received.
- Inspect the final product to look for any welding defects or geometric intolerances and recommend further steps.
- Resolve issues in production as they arise and ensure effect management of time and resources to comply with deadlines and project requirements.
- Develop implementation procedures for facility layout and process design.
- Utilize control procedures to verify accuracy and ensure project quality and consistency.
- Preparing process sheets/maps and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory policies and procedures.
