An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Policy and Project Officer on a Full-Time, Fixed-term basis in the Local Government and Regional Priorities unit
The Housing Policy branch is responsible for social and affordable housing policy and reform, including leading Home Victoria's Cabinet and cross government interface on housing issues. The branch is responsible for Aboriginal Housing policy and sector engagement and partnerships with local government.
The branch leads Homes Victoria's work on the delivery design for mental health and affordable housing dwellings in the Big Housing Build, evaluation of the Big Housing Build program and social procurement and gender in employment across all of Homes Victoria.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to undertake analysis, develop policy and engage strategically with key stakeholders to improve social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians, as part of the Victorian Government's Big Housing Build.

Specialist Expertise
- Applied knowledge of land use planning, the Victorian Planning Schemes, the local government sector or the housing sector would be well-regarded.
