Our host company, Ingot, have a proud 40-year history of designing and manufacturing state of the art nonferrous aluminum bronze casting components for purpose-built machines.

Ingot are seeking two capable, and skilled individuals for long-term careers in Engineering, through an **Metal Casting Trades Apprenticeship specialising in Casting and Moulding** in Hemmant, QLD.

- Gain a **Certificate III in Engineering - Casting and Moulding** upon completion.

**Your duties may include**:

- Producing sand moulds by hand or using moulding machines
- pouring and trimming castings and operating and monitoring melting furnaces
- Adding finishing touches to products in the form of cleaning, polishing, filing, and adding protective or decorative finishes
- Use Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machinery and Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment to design and make patterns using wood, polystyrene, polymer and other materials.
- Attendance and completion of 4-years of study-based component

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Certificate II In Engineering or similar experience
- Drivers Licence
- Year 11 or higher school completion
- Skilled with mathematics or developing their mathematic abilities
- A forklift licence or willing to gain one
- Strong understanding of WH&S

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen or have permanent working rights in Australia
