Sponsorships and PR Coordinator

**The role**
We’re looking for a dynamic and organised Sponsorship & PR Coordinator to join our collaborative and fun Marketing team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work across both sporting sponsorships (Such as the Dolphins NRL and the Perth Scorchers) and PR, helping bridge the two functions to amplify our brand impact. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, growing team with exciting opportunities on the horizon.

**What you’ll be doing**

**PR**- Monitor media coverage across traditional and digital channels, highlighting opportunities, trends and potential risks for stakeholders.
- Help identify and assess reputational risks, escalating where required.
- Support crisis planning and assist in the preparation and management of templated responses and processes.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of PR campaigns and management of the PR calendar.
- Contribute to internal and external communications, including workshops and storytelling.

**Sponsorships**- Assist in managing the sporting sponsorship calendar and campaign coordination.
- Support game-day logistics, ticketing, set-up, and staff promotions. This may include after hours or weekend work.
- Write engaging internal communications highlighting sponsorship initiatives.
- Help with PO creation, invoice processing, and reporting.

**Collaboration**- Work closely with Brand, SEO & Product Managers and other cross functional teams to align sponsorship & PR activities.
- Contribute to ideation sessions and workshops, bringing creative ideas to enhance PR and Sponsorship initiatives.
- Participate in weekly sponsorship and planning meetings.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in Media Relations and/or Sporting Sponsorships.
- Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills with proven project management experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus.
