**About the role**

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service and maintenance for the Hideaway Bay Marine site equipment and machinery. In this position, you will:

- **Preventative Maintenance**: Identify and implement preventative maintenance requirements to minimise breakdowns and disruptions, enhancing fleet reliability.
- **Routine Maintenance**: Plan and execute routine maintenance tasks, manage spare parts inventory, and share best practices with machinery operators. You will also assist in supervising contractor maintenance activities.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Collaborate on improvement programs to address non-compliance issues, including hazard identification and risk assessments.

This is a full-time role, operating on 7 days on, 7 days off roster.

**About you**
- Relevant Trade Certificate and demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience troubleshooting issues and undertaking maintenance and repair of machinery or equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication with confidence in your problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm while working in a changing environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
