Job Description

The NOC Manager role is served by a capable leader that is a skilled network technologist with responsibilities that include oversight of a multi-tiered, customer-focused, highly skilled network support team responsible for engineering, implementing, and maintaining edge routing infrastructure for all trading platforms across the region. The NOC bridges the knowledge gap between Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Trade Desk functions. The NOC Manager’s team is responsible for providing first level customer facing world class support in conjunction with solving problems, monitoring Cboe’s global network infrastructure, ensuring network devices maintain a healthy state, and troubleshooting when they are not. The NOC Manager will work closely with customer Network Engineers and Data Center Technicians to implement connectivity solutions and troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to direct reports responsible for customer and platform support. Act as an escalation point and role model for all NOC personnel.
- Regularly meet with NOC leadership and other Sr. NOC Engineers to shape team direction.
- Develop and implement long term strategies and provide project management expertise for the team.
- Engage with internal infrastructure resources and vendor engineering resources to troubleshoot complex technical network and/or market data issues.
- Liaise with vendors and operators of facilities supporting critical financial infrastructure.
- Liaise with business associates, customers, and software engineers to define and design new features and functions.
- Provide timely and professional outbound communications to firms regarding project timelines or infrastructure affecting maintenance. During the hours when the NOC is not staffed, a rotational on call schedule is adhered to
- Provide customers and the sales coverage team support and training related to Cboe network connectivity.

- Use technical network tools to troubleshoot, maintain, monitor & fix all aspects of customer facing network equipment & processes and procedures.
- Support task automation efforts through development, testing and maintenance of Python tools.
- Be part of an on-call schedule.

Job Requirements
- Two or more of the following:

- CCNA
- CISSP
- CCNP (counts as two)
- MCSA/MCSE, Linux+
- CompTia Security+, Network+
- Corvil Certified Administrator/Expert
- Logic Monitor Certified Expert
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 8
- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor Degree
