**We are currently seeking to employ casual Educators at our OSHC Services at Elanora**

School Plus are specialists in providing high quality Outside School Hours Care Services and are committed to the safeguarding of children and young people from harm. We are a Not for Profit Organisation which genuinely embraces integration and involvement within the School Community. We have a reputation for striving for excellence with a focus on high quality in a growing industry which is vital to many busy parents.

As an Educator your primary role will be to support the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinators in the planning and delivery of fun and active programs for primary school aged children from 4 to 12 years. The facilities are exceptional and well appointed. Our approach is very hands on and based on building teams to work together to ensure each child and staff member reaches their full potential.

**The successful applicant should also possess**:

- Relevant childcare qualifications (or are actively studying) such as a Diploma or Certificate 111 in Children’s Services or if you are completing an Education, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Disability Services, or Social Work Degree and looking for hands on experience in working with children, including some students with additional needs
- Be available to work at least 3 days week as required for before school, after school and/or vacation care. Must be able to work a minimum of 3 afternoons
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A current National Police Check
- All qualified educators must hold current Senior First Aid, CPR Emergency Management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis or alternatively a certificate for HLTAID012 - “Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting” as this covers all certificates.
- Previous experience working with children 4- 12 years old

**Hours of Work**:

- 6.00am - 9.00am for Before School Care
- 2.50pm - 6.00pm for After School Care
- Various shifts during vacation care throughout the day from 6am-6pm

**Together we will create a patch for every child to GROW.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
