**PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATOR**
**FULL-TIME**

Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic early childhood educator to join
our dynamic Pre-school team.

children in our five day group. This is a permanent full-time position working 5 days a week.

Capable of working collaboratively within a team to plan and deliver high quality teaching
and learning programmes, and possessing an exemplary understanding of best practice,
you sustain a deep commitment to implement rigorous, highly differentiated programmes
in a pre-school setting.

You are an excellent communicator, creative, and able to work well with students, parents
and other teachers. You are committed to continual professional development and
reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent
- A minimum of two years’ experience working as an early childhood educator
- Experience in additional needs and inclusion support will be highly regarded.
- Experience in digital documentation and journals
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law, the Education and Care

Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and the Early Years
Learning Framework

- A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural
incident

- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when

engaging with children.
Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be
advantageous.
