**What you’ll be doing**

**_Due to the nature of the work and our clients, you must be an Australian Citizen and located within Australia for this role. The role can be performed from anywhere within Australia, however there may be the requirement for client site work and some travel from time to time._**

We are seeking skilled
**ERP Payroll Consultants** with experience in OpenOffice, IT Vision software or other similar software and a strong background in local government processes.

As an ERP Payroll Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and supporting payroll modules within our clients' systems.

**What your day might look life**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and objectives.
- Implement, configure, and customise the payroll module of the ERP system to align with clients' specific needs.
- Develop and document payroll-related policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Assist clients in migrating and importing payroll data into the ERP system.
- Conduct system testing to ensure accurate payroll calculations and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the proper usage of the ERP payroll module.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll processes with other modules of the ERP system, such as HR and finance.
- Stay updated on the latest payroll regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

**What will make you successful in this role?**
- Two plus years as ERP Financials Consultant, with a focus on Open Office, IT Vision, or other similar ERP software.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices within the context of local government operations.
- In-depth understanding of ERP financial modules, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and procurement.
- Configuring and customising ERP financial systems, specifically with Open Office or IT Vision or other similar software is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, end-users, and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
