Our client is a government organisation located in the outer north of Melbourne, who have a great permanent opportunity for an experienced level 1 & 2 support professional looking to continue growing their career to join the team as an Information Systems Support Officer.

- Fully onsite role to be optionally based at Wallan or Broadford sites

**The role**
As an Information Systems Support Officer you will be involved in BAU and project based BAU work, provide onsite support for systems, networks, infrastructure, networks and end user devices, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal users and stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the identification of network bottlenecks and faults and develop strategies to alleviate issues
- Perform after-hours work as requested in the maintenance of information systems
- Work on Service Desk statistics and provide report to senior management using PowerBI or other appropriate tool
- Create and run PowerShell scripts to automate process such as mailbox creation, Skype account setup and user account creation
- Site visitations across multiples sites to provide customer service, install new equipment (printers etc) etc
- Ensure the general system administration duties are carried out appropriately, including user account creation and removal, checking audit logs, maintaining log files etc.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft technology, including Azure, Windows servers, O365, Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint Server
- Networking and telephony technical knowledge in Cisco/Avaya, and Skype For Business
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and users to understand their requirements and provide timely solutions
- Ability to create and run PowerShell scripts to automate process
- Experience in ITIL, and working with ticketing systems to manage workload and delivery
- Exposure to software such as Technology One, or EDRMS software such as HP Records Manager will be highly desirable
- The ability to work full time onsite in Wallan or Broadford, and a driver's license as you will need to travel to remote sites
Permanent full-time role with an annual salary of $79K base plus super. Please note that this is an onsite role, that can be based out of Broadford or Wallan. If successful, you will need a police check and employer grade Working With Children Check card (WWCC) before starting.
