Our Pedagogical Area Manager role is an exciting, newly created position that will lead and inspire high quality service provisions and drive the pedagogical leadership. With 7 services currently across the program, including early learning, sessional kindergarten, occasional care and OSHC programs, this role will be at the forefront of supporting new and existing services, ensuring policies and processes are being implemented and the team have the tools they need to succeed. We see this role as highly collaborative and critical to Cire’s success.

The curriculum is Reggio Emilia inspired, open-ended, and we plan for both the individual child as well as the broader group. **About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant experience as a Pedagogical Area Manager, or an experienced Centre Manager who has had experience supporting other Centre Managers and is ready to take the next step in your career
- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching or equivalent, as approved by ACECQA
- Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, including all legislation and regulations
- Demonstrated deep understanding of the Education and Care Regulations, EYLF, NQS and Children’s Services Award, as well as experience with assessments and ratings
- Strong business acumen, including a good understanding of financials
- Capabilities to assist in the development and implantation of policies and processes ensuring best practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong
- relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent influencing, leadership and motivational skills with the ability to build, mentor and lead a team, including driving pedagogical and educational leadership
- Experience in conflict resolution and workplace relations
- You understand your obligations under the Child Safe Standards and are comfortable working within the National Quality and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks, with a commitment to child safety
- Ability to work autonomously and across various locations in the eastern/south eastern suburbs, requiring a valid and current Victorian Driver's License with access to a reliable car
- Currently hold, or be willing to undertake, certifications including a Working with Children Check, Australian Right to Work Check, and National Police Check
