**12 MONTHS TEMPORARY POSITION**

**HYBRID WORKING ARRANGEMENT - 3 DAYS ON SITE | 2 DAYS PER WEEK**

**WORKING FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT**

**THE POSITION**:
The primary objective of the Officer Warehouse person is to ensure the secure, safe and efficient handling of goods and documents. This includes their receipt, intra plant transfers and despatch. You will also be responsible for some admin tasks - fleet managment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receiving, dispatching and processing goods and documents through the Receiving Store
- Picking goods correctly to reservations or other forms of SAP demand and transferring in a timely & accurate manner
- Ensuring that goods and documents entering the site undergo a security clearance
- Undertaking inspections and successfully operating the security scanning equipment
- Understand how to handle different goods and storage conditions
- Accurate and timely entry of data in the SAP system to activate the supplier payment process
- Participation in stock takes and cycle counts
- Implementing security and safety procedures upon detection of security and safety threats
- Ensuring that the scanning equipment is operated in accordance with guidelines
- Loading and unloading goods in a safe manner to avoid personal injury and to minimise any damage to the goods in accordance with chain of responsibility obligations
- Conducting, reporting Warehousing and Stores Safety Audits and implementing any improvements arising.
- Booking appropriate courier for off-site shipping of goods and documents
- Keeping the work area clean and in good order
- Fleet Management of cards
- Logging in & out of cars, log books etc.
- Registration renewals
- General admin duties

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- ** Forklift Licence & Drivers Licence
- Essential**:

- ** MR Licence, desirable or willing to obtain**:

- ** MUST BE Fully Vaccinated as per Government regulations**:

- Intermediate computer skills - SAP experience, highly regarded
- 3-5 years warehouse/stores experience
- Experience in operating and interpreting security scanning equipment
- Team player
- Follow strict OH&S guidelines
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit, lift up to 25 kg

**Work Type**: 12 Months Temporary

**Hourly Rate**: $41.06 (Includes casual loading)

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 7.30 am - 3.30 pm
