Mel’s Garden Care & Maintenance is based in Eltham, servicing a wide range of gardens in surrounding suburbs. We are expanding and looking to add part-time and casual horticulturalists to our team.

These will be ongoing positions of 3 - 4 days per week with the possibility of increased hours in the future.
- Love working in a team and also be confident to work unsupervised when required
- Be skilled in plant identification, particularly weeds, perennial shrubs and trees
- Have an understanding of the ongoing maintenance requirements of plants
- Be hard working and physically fit
- Be organised and have excellent communication skills
- Have a keen eye for detail and be proud of the work they do
- Live local or be familiar with the Eltham area
- Have their own phone, vehicle suitable for carrying garden tools & mower, and drivers license

Current Horticulture students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Remuneration is in accordance with the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award 2020.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.98 - $35.02 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week

- Eltham, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)
