Ten Recruitment are currently seeking a permanent production scheduler for a food manufacturing business based in the Southern Suburbs of Perth.

The Role:
A lead manufacturing business based in Hope Valley area of Perth are seeking a scheduler for their production department. The scheduler will be responsible for the following:
Plan, activate, coordinate and complete production and out-bound schedules effectively, sourcing accurate information and calculations in order to optimise operational effectiveness in accordance with company policies and standards and customer specifications

Effective Production and Outbound Scheduling:
Undertake and complete scheduling activities effectively to optimise production and outbound outcomes whilst mitigating risks, and in accordance with company policies, procedures and guidelines and customer specifications and schedules;Work collaboratively with internal Sales and Inbound Scheduling functions and external logistic providers to optimise scheduling of customer orders and deliveries;
Monitor and activate actions to complete Chain of Responsibility requirements for outbound products;
Undertake production activities, aligning with approved production safety, hazards and hygiene practices, in accordance with the clients standards;
Provide manager with works progress update, identifying and escalating issues and problems promptly to source effective solutions;
Understand and optimise interfaces between different work areas;
Accurately interpret and follow operational procedures and specific instructions;
Complete records and documentation and deliver periodic reporting promptly, accurately and completely;
Commit to continually seek improvements throughout production/outbound scheduling activities;
Actively participate in internal meetings; and undertake other tasks as requested

Essential Qualifications:

- Relevant warehouse logistic and/or operational scheduling tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma).
- Valid WA drivers’ licence.
- Australian Right to Work.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Frontline management qualifications or equivalent.
- Relevant licences and tickets e.g. forklift, working at heights, confined space (desirable).
