**The position**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and flexible Transport Coordinator to join our Logistics team in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

To succeed, you will need to have a good knowledge of the road freight industry and a strong customer service focus.

**The position is responsible for**:

- Arranging and planning local deliveries and run sheets
- Organising & writing consignment notes
- Releasing forward orders
- Tracking and uploading proof of deliveries
- Assisting Sales representatives and other staff with queries
- Relief in nominating shipments.
- Relief in responding to sales/marketing queries and requests.
- General Administrative duties
- Customer service
- Data entry

**About you**
- You will have previously worked in a Transport Coordinator role, with experience in liaising with a variety of people - including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions.
- Must have a good knowledge of Sydney Metropolitan Area
- Experienced in organising local Road and Rail freight
- Dangerous Goods experience would be beneficial
- Ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
- Will be computer literate including in the Microsoft suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Australian citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
