**About the Opportunity**

As part of the Infrastructure Program the Design Drafter will provide professional advice and input into the technical design, development, implementation and monitoring of a range of projects and proposals that contribute to achieving the City of Adelaide’s Strategic Plan outcomes.

Some of the projects we are currently working on are:

- Main Streets Revitalisation Project - Melbourne Street, Hutt Street, O’Connell Streets, Hindley Street and Gouger Street.
- Streetscape and laneway upgrades
- City and Park Lands Shared Paths and Bikeways
- Major Stormwater upgrade and renewal projects.
- Streetscape Renewal projects, incorporating Green Infrastructure.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated technical knowledge of civil engineering and experience in drafting / design experience in the civil and infrastructure field.
- Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office and high proficiency in AutoCAD and producing accurate design drawings.
- Manual design and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of Australian drafting standards, building construction, practices and techniques.
- Experience in the delivery of design, documentation and quality assurance to meet highest industry standards and statutory regulations.
