As we continue to expand, we are seeking experienced and committed **Disability Support Workers** to join our dynamic, highly experienced teams.

**About the Role**:
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide 1:1 support to our NDIS participants.
The primary responsibilities include:

- Assisting participants with personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
- Supporting community participation, including attending day programs and shopping trips.
- **Providing domestic help, such as vacuuming, mopping, and general cleaning of a two-bedroom unit.**

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of **6 months experience** supporting people with disabilities.
- **Current driver’s license** and access to a reliable vehicle.
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check** (or willingness to obtain).
- **First Aid (HLTAID011)** and **CPR (HLTAID009)** certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- **COVID-19 vaccination** (fully vaccinated).
- Completion of the **NDIS Worker Orientation Module** and **Infection Control Training**.
- Australian citizenship.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel to Ipswich and Brisbane Southside areas.
- **No independent contractors, please.**

**Preferred Qualifications/Experience**:

- Previous experience assisting with community engagement and domestic help.
- Familiarity with supporting clients in their homes.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
