**SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Water Treatment Systems**

**Freshwater Systems Australia has recently secured the contract for two Major Victorian Hospitals and is seeking to employ an experienced Service Technician to join our Victorian Service Dept and assist with the expansion of our Sales and Service business in Victoria. FRESHWATER SYSTEMS AUSTRALIA is an Australian owned and operated water treatment equipment/chemical supplier with over 33 years of operating history.

Products we supply and service include reverse osmosis systems, all types of filtration, rain water reuse systems, water softeners, multi-media filters, UV systems, pumps, DAF's, Cooling Towers and chemical water treatment dosing systems.

Freshwater Systems is recognised as the leading Water Treatment Company in Australian servicing industries such as aged care, hospitals, schools, government sites, plumbing contractors, mining, general industry, commercial buildings, food & beverage, wastewater and agriculture/pastoral water supplies.

**The successful applicant will be based in our Victorian office (Tullamarine), reporting to the Victorian State Manager and tasks will include but are not limited to**:

- Providing preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown service and repairs to water treatment equipment and plants
- Analysis and adjustment of water quality parameters
- Installation and commissioning of new water treatment equipment/plants
- Providing technical information and support to clients in relation to all areas of chemical water treatment
- Maintain quality records and compliance documentation as required by management
- Prepare and present equipment and service proposals to potential new
- Identify and scope potential new Victorian service opportunities

**Qualifications, Experience and Essential skills required**:

- Current experience as a service technician within the water treatment industry is highly desirable
- Licensed Plumber (with B Class Electrical licence) would be highly desirable
- Certificate in Water Operations is highly desirable but not essential
- Whilst not mandatory some general knowledge of water treatment and associated chemicals would be highly regarded
- Flexibility to be able to work overtime when required and availability for on call roster
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office software and experience with Aroflo or similar electronic service-based program
- Current driver’s license is essential
- White Card an advantage
- Police clearance / Working with Children Check
- Ability to travel intrastate and interstate when required
