Our dental office is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team on a full time basis working approximately 38 hours weekly. Experience is preferred. Located in Baulkham Hills, our practice welcomes patients from all over NSW to receive exciting, modern and advanced treatments. Our Dental Assistant would be required to:

- Meet the highest standard of work
- Follow procedure manual office protocols and guidelines
- Sterilise instruments
- Prepare instrument trays
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Correctly handle dispose of contaminated waste
- Maintain equipment
- General housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, wipe down of bathrooms, stocking paper towels and toilet paper, tidy waiting room, wiping down of mirrors and glass doors and countertops, maintaining a tidy kitchen)

Applicants must:

- Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Be well-spoken, confident and empathetic when communicating with patients
- Take initiative
- Be punctual, reliable and responsible
- Be able to multi-task while working in a busy environment
- Have a sound level of computer literacy
- Dental assisting experience will be highly regarded

The position includes working hours ranging from between 8am and 6pm Monday to friday and Saturdays from 8am until 1pm.

Your own transport is a must as there are limited public transport services available in the area.

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Dental Assistants: 1 year (preferred)
