Smt & Electronics Technician

Our Keysborough based Production team is looking for a **SMT & Electronics Technician** to join the team. **As ENTTEC’s newest SMT and Electronics Technician you will be assembling, testing, and packing our innovative electrical products.**

This role begins on a casual basis, with conversion to full time after the probation period.

**Skills & Responsibilities**:

- Operation and testing of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), including ensuring that the machine is fully operational and reporting any faults in a timely and clear manner.
- Install units and printed circuit boards following specifications
- Using testing equipment find errors, diagnose, and troubleshoot PCB boards
- Fitting and wiring BL lights according to clients’ specifications
- Testing and programming lighting units
- Assist in quality assurance during the manufacturing process
- Mechanical assembly and packing of final products
- Provide technical assistance when required in production
- Ensure all tools and machines are maintained to be fully operative.

**About You**
- Experience in SMD or SMT [highly desirable]
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or electronics environment (desirable)
- Ability problem solve and find innovative solutions
- Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised with a positive solution focused attitude
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Be adaptable and able to pick up new skills
- High level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Keysborough, VIC 3173: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
