**About the Role**:
As the Endeavour Foundation continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we are seeking a** Customer Safeguarding Advisor **to join our Cannon Hill based team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
As our **Customer Safeguarding Advisor**, you will coordinate the customer incident management process and identification of continuous improvement and learning initiatives related to safeguarding of our customers. This role works collaboratively with our customers, guardians, Service Delivery team and the wider organisation to safeguard and improve outcomes for people with disability. Key responsibilities will include:
- Advocating for contemporary best practice, policies and processes to manage incident investigations and customer safeguarding by identifying the contributing factors and root causes of ‘customer harm’ to plan and provide recommendations for improvement to service delivery
- Investigating critical and serious incident using a person-centered framework including risk assessment, key stakeholder engagement, task delegation and escalation management
- Assisting with customer complaints and compliments process within the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Supporting the ongoing development, and implementation of processes to reduce preventable customer harm and the improvement in customer outcomes and experience
**What you will bring the role**:
- Previous experience within the community, disability or health service sector will be highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Community Services/Investigations or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated understanding of NDIS standards and practices will be highly regarded
- Experience in incident investigation and complex case management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills - you are skilled at creating and preparing documents and reports
- A high level of critical thinking and problem solving and demonstrated leadership skills
- A high level of computer literacy across Microsoft Suite of programs (Excel/Outlook/Word) to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Demonstrated experience in continuous practice improvement
