**About the Role**
We’re seeking dedicated **Mental Health Support Workers** to provide compassionate, professional support to individuals with psychosocial disabilities. You’ll play a key role in empowering participants to achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and connect with their communities in meaningful ways.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate within a recovery framework, performing regular check-ins and promoting reflective practices.
- Develop and evaluate individual support plans to achieve NDIS participant goals.
- Enhance participants' quality of life through holistic support and advocacy.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including community organisations.
- Identify community needs and plan strategies to address them.
- Promote a respectful workplace culture by organising events and recreational activities.
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with WHS guidelines.
**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience supporting high-needs clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and resilience skills.
- Knowledge of NDIS plans, line items, and behaviour support plans.
- Adaptability to work with diverse individuals and challenges.
- Strong professional boundaries and teamwork abilities.
**Qualifications Required**
- NDIS Worker Screening Card (preferred)
- Blue Card (required)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (required)
- Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, or Youth Work (preferred)
