Experienced Barista

**About the role**

Are you an experienced barista looking to join a fun team in a friendly coastal location. Bribie Island Community Arts Centre is seeking an Experienced Barista to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee in a fast-paced cafe environment.

We are looking for an experienced barista; initially 12 hours a week, with a view to more hours as a back when needed.

Starting 7th January (with a possible training day on the 6th January).

Your hours of work will be **two days a week**. Monday 7.30am - 1pm and Tuesday 7.30am - 2pm.

The duties relating to this position will be to provide service in the café during opening times (9:00am - 2:00pm).

**What you'll be doing**
- Preparing a range of coffee and specialty beverages to the highest standards
- Providing prompt and friendly customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Assisting with general café duties as required
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a smooth operation

**What we are looking for**
- Minimum 1-year experience as a barista in a café environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- A friendly, positive, and proactive attitude
- Flexibility to cover some more shifts to cover for holidays/sick leave
