**Job Description**:
The Role
A unique opportunity now exists for a well-experienced professional to join AECOM’s NSW and ACT leadership team to lead AECOM’s business in the ACT. As a regional executive, you will lead a team of over 100 highly capable, experienced, and respected professionals and be responsible for business performance including work winning, living our values and collaborating with our business lines and support functions of the business.
Utilising your strong technical and commercial acumen, you will provide leadership and direction to our Canberra team and as part of the NSW/ACT Regional Leadership team support growth, collaboration and achievement of our financial targets. You will be responsible for building a culture that embraces excellence in client service and technical delivery across a range of market sectors and professional consulting services. You will have a strategic mindset and be able to win the work that matters to AECOM.
As a visionary leader, you will create high performing engaged teams via proactive communication, performance planning, performance management, appropriate reward and recognition, learning and development opportunities. Together with your extended team, you will contribute directly to projects and deliver exceptional client service that will build enduring client relationships.
About You
With extensive industry experience and tertiary qualification in related discipline, you will thrive in a fast and an ever-changing business landscape. You will have significant consulting/business experience, with major project and team management experience. Demonstrated technical capability, commercial acumen and ability to identify innovative business development opportunities are some of your key attributes.
You are an influencer, a driven individual and most importantly, a real collaborator. You will utilise your leadership skills, open communication and technical knowledge to engage with multidisciplinary technical experts whilst maintaining a strong client and business focus.
