Waxflower is looking for a front-of-house staff member to join our vibrant and diverse team. We have a permanent part-time position available for a friendly and experienced person seeking work in a supportive environment.

About Waxflower

We’re a unique wine bar with a heavy focus on sound and ambiance. Modeled on listening bars in Tokyo and New York we have DJs playing five nights a week. Our curated musical lineup is coupled with an extensive wine list and seasonal produce — something all front-of-house staff are expected to know and be able to communicate easily to customers.

We pay fairly and transparently according to restaurant industry award, including all correct penalty rates. We offer training and long-term job security for staff.

Job Requirements
- Experience working FOH
- Wine knowledge preferred (or a keen interest to learn)
- Work well in a team environment
- Clear communication skills

**Job Description**:
It’s a busy but fun environment to work in. Your primary concern will be ensuring the experiences of our customers are positive. That includes communicating warmly and fluently about our products and helping facilitate smooth operations during boisterous days and evenings. There is room to grow in this role and we will support and reward staff who display commitment and have an eagerness to learn.
