**Job location**:
Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria. We address the needs of people experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations.

Forensicare is situated across five sites across Victoria with its largest site being Thomas Embling Hospital,?Located in Fairfield just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre.?Thomas Embling Hospital is a 136-bed secure hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation and continuing care programs. It includes a dedicated women's unit.

**About the Role**:
The Forensic Disability Project Officer will work with a project team to develop our interface with disability supports and services.

**Duties**:

- Support delivery of the Early Intervention Psychosocial Response Project
- Work with Forensicare consumers at Thomas Embling Hospital regarding their disability needs and access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

- Demonstrated commitment to mental health recovery
- Good understanding of the NDIS and forensic mental health
- Experience and awareness of project work and a relevant qualification or working towards.

**COVID19 & Influenza Vaccination Evidence**

Under the Victorian Public Health orders, all employees working within the Public Health system must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza and are required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status. The current orders require evidence of three doses for COVID-19.
