**The Client**
Gybe Consulting is partnering with a high profile, much loved household Consumer name on a Marketing Data Analyst position. This organisation has a massive footprint across Australia and New Zealand and are proud of their ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best experience possible.

**Role**
This is a newly created role where you’ll be working with team members across marketing to provide data, analysis & reporting on existing and proposed strategies, promotions, campaigns, and tests.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with key marketing leads, advising on strategy, goal setting & metric development.
- Develop and utilise frameworks to measure effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities - focusing on incrementality and return on investment.
- Ensure leadership and the broader team understand and trust those frameworks with documentation and examples.
- Work with team members throughout marketing to provide data, analysis and reporting on existing and proposed strategies, promotions, campaigns, and tests.
- Provide analysis that highlights areas of opportunity to improve customer acquisition, re-activation, and retention, along with recommendations on audience segmentation.
- Measure the impact of paid marketing channels (E.g., SMS, Display, Online Video, TV) through experiments and analysis.
- Liaise and assist the Business Intelligence Team in their efforts to enhance and maintain the database and improve quality and accessibility of data.
- Help extend data literacy and curiosity throughout the marketing team.

**The Skills Required**
- Strong data analysis & visualisation skills, using a range of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI and scripting languages.
- Good understanding of databases and proficiency with SQL; having exposure to data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift or Big Query is a plus
- An understanding of media attribution, marketing mix modelling and incrementality of marketing campaigns.
- Experience with Python or R and analysing marketing data.
- Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas.
- Experience generating reports and presentations, adding clear strategic insights and recommendations that can be understood by stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced corporate environment with ability to pivot quickly as business needs change.
