Field Service Technician

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented mechanical fitter to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Brisbane. This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual. The role will help to deliver 24x7 national support - including contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Brisbane/QLD region. The position will require participation in the on-call roster and must be flexible to work overtime including Saturday's and Sunday's. In this position you will be working afternoon shifts as part of your work roster.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:

- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (mandatory)
- Restricted Electrical Licence is highly regarded
- PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC highly regarded, can be trained
- Current driver's licence
- Experience working with automation and material handling equipment (e.g. conveyors)
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems
- Ability to work autonomously, solve problems quickly and be results driven
- Strong safety focus including understanding of WHS requirements and adopting safe work practices
- Strong customer focus and excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Great team player who is able to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective on-going relationships
