**Disability Support Workers - Immediate Start ( Salisbury Area)**

Are you an experienced **Disability Support Worker** looking for an **immediate start**? We are hiring **dedicated support workers** to assist **female participants with complex behaviors** in the **Salisbury area**.

**About the Role**:
**SA Metro care is seeking passionate Female Disability Support Workers to join our team as casual basis within Supported Independent Living model(SIL). You will be providing high quality care and support to individuals living with psychosocial disability in Salisbury area.**

**What we are looking for**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. People with fluent English are preferred as per client choice.
- Provide **person-centred support** for female participants with **complex behaviours of concern**.
- Assist with **daily living tasks, community access, personal care, and behavioural support**.
- Implement **Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)** to ensure participant well-being.
- Work within a **trauma-informed and person-centred framework**.
- **Preference given to staff with open availability.**

**Available Shifts: PM, active overnight and afternoons passive sleepovers support including weekend work.**

**Requirements**:
**Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent.**
**NDIS Worker Screening Check.**
**First Aid & CPR Certification.**
**Australian Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle** (preferred).
Ability to follow **Behaviour Support Plans** & work within a **trauma-informed approach**.
Strong communication and de-escalation skills.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour
