Club Engadine RSL currently has a role available for a Full-Time Duty Manager for an immediate start.
- **About the Role**:_
This is a hands-on role that requires someone who enjoys interacting with customers and has a high level of customer service offering members and guests a great experience. The tasks cover both operational management and strategic decision-making to ensure that the venue runs efficiently while adhering to regulations and maintaining customer satisfaction. As an **Duty Manager** you will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
- This role will involve the following duties but not limited to:_
Working a rotating roster, the Duty Manager assist with overseeing the operations of the Club and ensures customer service standards are maintained across all areas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Duty managers are responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the operation of the club, venue and events to ensure smooth service and excellent guest experience.
- Organising and coordinating events, games, and entertainment activities to engage members and guests.
- Maintain excellent service standards during their shift by leading their teams with a hands-on approach
- Be responsible for the opening & closing of Club premises
- Set up rooms and functions as per daily instructions,
- Ensuring that security measures are in place and the property is maintained to a high standard.
- Managing membership programs, including sign-ups, renewals, and related services.
- Ensure compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and WHS responsibilities
- Assisting with harm minimisation responsibilities and ensuring customer well-being.
- Complete duties and reporting as RGO
- Complete daily clearance and safe reconciliation
- Complete a detailed daily shift report
- Motivate, train and encourage the team while on shift.
- Managing the daily roster and the delegation of workflows
- Motivate the team to ensure they are providing the best possible service
- First point of contact for all front-line staff queries on shift
- First point of contact for escalated customer queries
- Looking after the cleanliness of all areas of the Club
- Complete and submit reports on injury, employee counselling or incidents.
- Other reasonable duties assigned by senior managers
- Attend operational meetings as required
- Building relationships with local community organisations and ensuring the club’s contributions are well-executed and appreciated.
- At least a diploma in hospitality management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year as a Duty Manager in a club environment with Gaming, bistro & bar experience.
- Have impeccable grooming and personal presentation standards
- Be a team player and take ownership of your responsibilities while on shift
- Have the flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts (we have staff on-site from 8 AM to 1 AM )
- Be excited to participate in opportunities for further training and development

- Current RSA & RCG (Advanced RCG within 12 months)
- Working Rights in Australia
- National Police Check (within the last three months)

**Other details**:
**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent
**Salary**: AUD 75500 per year, plus superannuation and 5 weeks of annual leave
