Point Clare’s amenities are always close at hand to residents, who come to us for a range of care services including dementia care and respite care services. Locally loved, we have been committed to serving the Central Coast community since 1973.

**About the role**
As the Lifestyle/Recreational Activities Officer, you will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident’s choices and independence.

In planning and organising all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents’ needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account.

This is a **fixed-term part-time positon working 4 weekdays days per week for 6months** with review. Weekdays could include Tuesday - Friday, or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

**About you**
The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

A relevant qualification such as Cert IV in Leisure & Health is essential.

Previous experience in an aged care setting along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage.

Please note: As of May 2020, anyone visiting a residential home may be required to have an up-to-date influenza vaccination.
