We are looking for a Full Time Electronics Technician focused on electronic board level repairs. In this role, you will provide repairs to electro-mechanical equipment within the SMT department, working in a team that is friendly and driven.
**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Component level board repairs and rework
- Hand soldering of fine pitch surface mount and thru-hole components in lead free components (RoHS)
- Incorporation of engineering change orders (ECO) on PCB's
- Troubleshoot errors that occur, escalating issues where required to your manager
- Work towards individual and team KPI's
- Ensure safe work practices are always adhered to
- Understand the importance of quality checks and carry these out as required
- Monitor product standards, identify and escalate any issues

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience following strong process procedures and controls
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to production issues
- A team player who is respectful of others, upholds company values and be open to training and learning new things
- Minimum 3-5 years current experience in fine pitch SMT thru-hole soldering
- IPC certification in soldering required
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation such as BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, quality process documents and simple schematics
- Understanding of electronic component types and packaging
