Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

We are now looking for a **Toolstore Operator** to join the team at the Brisbane Maintenance & Modification Centre in Pinkenba.

The Toolstore Operator is responsible for issuing controlled Tooling, Support & Test Equipment and GSE to maintenance personnel. Once tasks are completed, GSE and Tooling will need to be accepted and inspected into the controlled Toolstore environment.

You will be joining a tight knit group of passionate and highly experienced maintenance professionals supporting a vital platform for the Australian Defence Force well into the future.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide counter service/support for the daily issue and return of tooling from Tool Store.
- Handle and register the daily requests for use of GSE stored within the BMMC.
- Ensure tooling and equipment is clean and properly stored or packed upon return to Tool Store.
- Record and report any defects or unserviceability is identified
- Ensure tooling is compliant with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to continued improvement program for Tool Store Optimisation.
- Assist with coordination and organisation of Loan Tooling between other business units and entities.
- Monitor usage and replenish Consumables.
- Receipt and dispatch of Tool Store items.

**Essential Qualifications and requirements**:

- Trade Certificate (desired)
- Experience in a similar role
- Drivers Licence
- An effective communicator with a customer focus
- Sound understanding of WH&S responsibilities in a high-risk operational environment
- Must be able to satisfy pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks and employment screening verification.
- An Australian citizen capable of attaining and maintaining an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Essential)
