**The Role**

Our Technical Design (Drafting) team are responsible for providing accurate scaffold/fall protection plans and gear lists for residential construction sites.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join the team and be responsible for a team of 12. In this role you will define the Buildsafe drafting standard, with a mindset of continuous improvement and you will not be afraid to challenge the status quo.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Inspire, lead, and guide a well-established Technical Design Team
- Deliver accurate drawings and picklists nationally by the agreed cut off times
- Ensure the team is engaged, empowered, motivated, and set up to succeed
- Responsible for the tariff creation and relevant times associated with each job
- Develop and manage an efficient team approach to deliver a high-quality drafting service that ensures the best possible outcome for the client whilst providing a competitive advantage for Buildsafe
- Define the Technical Design Quality Standards nationally, develop thorough training manuals that outline drafting principles for every product

**About You**

This role suits someone with a background in _ANY_ of the following:

- Experience in scaffold drafting or in the scaffold technical field
- Experience in drafting or construction plans
- Construction or trade experience
- Experience with iScaff and/or CAD

- Proven team leadership experience
- A technical mindset, a high level of attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Effective communication and relationship management skills
- Effective organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated understanding of architectural plans (ability to interpret house plans)
- Medium to high computer literacy skills
- A tenacious problem-solving attitude, and an unrelenting desire to improve
