**About the role**:
The Funding Allocations and Financial Reform Lead delivers strategic and operational support in relation to the department’s funding arrangements including identifying and / or delivering process and funding policy improvement that supports the Department’s policy initiatives and objectives.

This ranges from providing advice and support in reforms and initiatives that promote change, through to supporting the smooth and efficient operation of existing approved policy arrangements where the Funding Directorate play an important role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Divisions within the Department for Education.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: A tertiary qualification in accounting, economics or related financial / business management field.

**Desirable**: Nil.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake the RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
