**About the role**
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic VCE Chemistry and Secondary Science Teacher to deliver high quality classes to our students.

**Responsibilities and Criteria include**:
Thorough preparation and delivery of classes in both VCE Chemistry and Secondary Science based on the required curriculum in our newly built Launch Lab.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of The Study Design for VCE Chemistry.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of the curriculum for Secondary Science.
A professional team approach to teaching.
Understanding how assessment and evaluation promotes learning.
Ability to adapt to creative learning environments where individuals feel secure and valued while being challenged to define and pursue their own interests.
Identifying, reflecting and implementing good practice in teaching.
Communicating openly and effectively with peers, students and parents.
Advocacy for the teaching of Science.
Skills and Experience

**VIT registration**
Experience in teaching Chemistry at VCE level.
Experience in teaching Science at Secondary level.
An understanding of relevant Curriculum and varying teaching methodologies.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confidence in working with students, staff and parents.
Competency with digital technologies.
