**What will you do?**
Due to recent project wins and a solid pipeline of future projects, we are seeking an Associate or higher Civil Engineer with experience in major roads and highways to join our transport team.
This senior role will see you operating in a client-facing capacity with our key client TMR-SCR and local council (CoGC) as well as establishing our Gold Coast design office. You will be responsible for winning and leading projects in both a work winning and project management capacity and providing support and guidance to a highly technical team.
**What can you bring to the team?**
You are a seasoned Senior Associate or higher Engineer with a proven background in geometric road design and guiding a highly capable, technical team on Major Roads and Highways projects. You will come to us with:
- Proven track record in detailed design delivery across motorways/highways and interchanges
- Established relationships with TMR South Coast/City of Gold Coast
- Confident working in bid preparation, winning work and client liaison
- Advanced commercial acumen; a flair for client engagement and expanding the business in line with Aurecon’s strategic business focus
- Proven ability to develop, manage, mentor and lead a design team
- Establish quality control in design delivery to satisfy both Aurecon and client requirements
- An all-rounder approach; the adaptability to flex between large and small scale business development, team leadership and delivery.
- Chartered qualifications in IEAust and RPEQ
