**About our Team**
An APS 5 Project Officer assists the EL 1 Project Manager, the Project Director and Team, providing project and administrative support across multiple project management functions. These positions report to the EL 1 Project Manager in the Integration and Automation Delivery Branch within the Defence Digital Group (DDG).

Supporting Defence in this technology dominated era requires a more responsive and agile approach to strategy, processes, policies and people. The team works dynamically in a high tempo environment that brings rewarding challenges and a great sense of purpose.

To be successful in this role, you will be highly motivated, collaborative and resilient, with knowledge and experience in project support, corporate support, finance, procurement, or contracting to achieve successful business outcomes.

As an APS 5 Project Officer, you will:

- Have the flexibility to work across a variety of project functions including (but not limited to): reporting, scheduling, secretariat, change and configuration management, information and records management, procurement and contract management, governance, risk management, asset management, communication and stakeholder management;
- Have good organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise tasks and deliver agreed business outcomes;
- Demonstrate good communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and productively as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
