**The Role**
In this newly established position, you will assume responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing from the Finance Manager while also developing and refining processes and procedures. Your duties will include:
- Handling end-to-end payroll processing for both site labor and salaried staff.
- Working with multiple EAs across multiple projects
- Maintaining employee master files within the payroll system.
- Reconciling and managing superannuation and statutory obligations, encompassing PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers' Compensation, and other payroll deductions.
- Establishing rapport with key project personnel to optimize payroll processes.
- Generating month-end payroll reports, including payroll cost reporting to projects and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
- Preparing year-end payroll reports.
- Overseeing the payroll system, including maintenance and enhancement.
- Developing procedures and processes to align with business requirements.
**Your Skills & Experience**
- Minimum three years' experience in Australian payroll settings.
- Proficiency in interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs)
