Manage the acquisition, storage and maintenance of quality customer focussed spatial information in accordance with agreed outcomes and objectives while optimising expenditure.
- Provide professional and technical leadership and management of staff, business, and financial operations for the delivery of spatial information and delivery services.
- Lead the modernisation of foundation spatial information and data in line with the Resources and ANZLIC strategic plans.
- Develop and maintain linkages with other Resources business areas, other State and National agencies, industry representatives, funding agencies, educational institutions, community groups, and other customers to ensure the ongoing relevance of spatial information services and activities.
- Provide policy and technical advice and support to the Spatial Information executive team and other senior management to address spatial information issues at both strategic and operational levels.
- Work independently and/or within a team environment by interacting with staff on a project basis to ensure that objectives are completed in a timely, appropriate, and effective manner.
